Marty Seidlin has lived, breathed and dreamed basketball for over 50 years. While growing up in the Bronx, he met his high school coach and life-long mentor Will Klein (founder and owner of the illustrious Five-Star Basketball Camp). Where Seidlin went on to run boys and girls camps at FSU, University of Central Florida, Middle Tennessee State University and Baylor University.
His vast basketball experience includes refereeing ABA and NBA exhibition games as well as the Rucker League in Harlem where he befriended legends Wilt Chamberlain, Julius Irving "Dr.J", Earl "The Goat" Manigault, Nate "Tiny" Archibald and other top 50 all time NBA players. Seidlin has since coached at Nova, Boyd Anderson, Dillard, St. Thomas, and Archbishop McCarthy. Twenty years ago, Seidlin brought his love of the game as well as the knowledge that he acquired throughout a lifetime of learning from the top players & coaches in the country to South Florida. He opened All American Basketball School, which has become the most prestigious basketball school in Broward County.
Seidlin calls it a school rather than a camp because the emphasis is on the teaching of fundamental skills as well as the self-esteem and sportsmanship that's required not only on the basketball court but, in the game of life.
